Here I am in York. We tried Indian food immediately upon arrival since it is now the de facto cuisine of England. We had a lovely day shopping and walking around on the walls of the city. Tomorrow I will head down to London to pick up Rod and the kids and his mom, Helen.
I love looking at your blog--York was of particular interest to me, as my family's "emblem" is ensconsed along the (inside) top of the Minster. Alan and I were there twice; once in the late '80s, again in 1995. Our English hometown is Sherburn-in-Elmet, a short distance southwest of York.
